Petition by Abir “Abby” Elzowidi
Tell Secretary of State John Kerry to keep pushing to end the Gaza war and end the Gaza blockade by signing our petition, and by participating in our daily 15 minute Twitter storm at 12 noon Eastern Time.
The Gaza ceasefire, which seemed to offer great promise for ending the violence in Gaza and addressing the underlying causes with diplomacy, has collapsed. But the fact that a ceasefire and real diplomacy were so close should give us concrete reasons for hope that escalating public pressure can end the violence and resolve the underlying issues, including the Israeli-Egyptian blockade of Gaza.
Take one or both of these actions to help push for an immediate ceasefire and an end to the blockade:
1. Sign and share our petition above calling on Secretary of State Kerry to keep pushing for a ceasefire and an end to the blockade.
2. At 12 noon eastern US time (11 AM Central, 9 AM Pacific), participate in our daily 15 minute Twitter storm to push for immediate ceasefire and for the Cairo talks following the ceasefire to conclude with an agreement to end the blockade of Gaza.
