Action for Mohamed Jawad
Mohamed Jawad was a minor when he was taken to Guantanamo Bay in 2002. Major David Frakt has been working very very hard on Mohamed’s behalf. He has put together an action that he believes will work. It will take only a few minutes.
This link contains the talking points for a letter. Please do write! Be sure it’s personalized, because form letters often wind up being ignored completely. These do not have to be written well, they only have to state your feelings on the issue. In cases like these, short is good.

Dear Friends of Justice, Fairness and the Rule of Law:
The Military Commission has ordered the Convening Authority (the official responsible for determining which charges are tried by military commission) to reconsider her earlier decision to refer the charges against Mohammad Jawad to trial by military commission. I am gathering letters to provide to the Convening Authority urging her to drop the case. In the attached document you will find a more detailed explanation and a model letter with talking points that you may reference in your personal letter to the Convening Authority. Please forward this message to anyone you think may be interested in helping. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. More detailed instructions are in the attached document. Letters are due back to me by September 12th.

Plz try to c the beauty around u the beauty that Allah has given u in shape of beautiful facial features,the lovely sceneries,the gr8 minds but y r u ruining this beauty by assaulting, punishing the ppl who have nothing to do with ppl who r enemy of BEAUTY OF THIS WORLD. I know u also believe on DAY OF JUDGEMENT so plz dont do things which will bring that day closer and closer.Let our children enjoy the beauty v and ppl before have enjoyed. Dont do wat ur doing at Guantanamo Bay and places like this. Dont target the innocents.PLZZZZZZZZ v know that not every American is Bush .
